Kadri Tammeaid
At Silmalaser, I specialise in the modern treatment of glaucoma patients, dry eye conditions, and pre- and post-operative consultations.
I started my education at Tallinn School No. 7 and entered the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 1982. My main sources of inspiration were my parents, who were both doctors, which is why I considered both psychiatry and ophthalmology as potential career paths. In 1989, I started working at Nõmme Hospital; from 2000 to 2021, I worked concurrently at Silmalaser and Lääne-Tallinn Central Hospital.
I regularly attend further training conferences in ophthalmology, both in Estonia and abroad.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the theatre and listening to music.
